Target recycled “less plastic” Method soap containers - recyclable?

I couldn’t find a pic/name of this online, so sorry about that! I was shopping in Target today to buy their Method liquid soap, when I noticed that they now offer the squishy plastic bag containers of the soap rather than the sturdier “normal” plastic bottles. I picked up the bag and was pleased to see that it contains so much percent less plastic than the normal bottles. I was about to buy it, but then I realized it didn’t have a PET number on it, or a recycle symbol. I checked the other plastic bottles, and they did. So..does that mean you can’t recycle the “eco friendly” plastic bag bottles? Because if you can’t…what’s the point? Wouldn’t it be better to buy a heavier-plastic product that could be recycled than a thinner-plastic product that couldn’t? Does anyone know if these things can be recycled?
