What’s with the new Coca Cola bottle cap?

So I’ve noticed in the past month or two they seem to have suddenly phased in a new bottle cap on Coca Cola products. It’s smaller and lighter, with wider grooves — my only thought is that it’s a response to the Poland Springs ‘eco-friendly bottle’ thing. Perhaps they’re trying to show they use less plastic too.

Has anyone seen this new cap? Is it a national roll-out, regional? Or am I in a test area?
If you’ve seen it, mention what region you live in

    I’ve noticed it too…maybe they’re just being eco-friendly,or they’re just trying to save money.

    My guess is that they are trying to using glass bottles.

    The new caps sucks its no where near as easy to screw it back on.
